3 Months Old

WARNING: This video is long (over 5 minutes!), but hopefully it's worth it for those of you who haven't even met Asher, yet!

Happy Thanksgiving!

For all of you in those cold climates, we just wanted to give you a taste of OUR Thanksgiving! It was a beautiful sunny day with the temp in the low 70s. We figured that we needed some sun protection for our eyes.

Growing up already

Even though Asher is getting better (at 12 weeks old!) at holding his head up, he still doesn't last very long on his tummy. He gets tired quickly from working so hard.

He really likes his Ocean Wonders toy to watch in his crib (when I remember to turn it on for him). It plays music and lights up and moves all at once! It's very mesmerizing.

Smiley Asher

Look at this smiley guy!! Asher was just having a ball with Grandma D!!

Paeter? or Asher?

We found this outfit among Paeter's things when we were cleaning out our "junk room" to make room for baby. It says it's size 12 months, but I KNOW our baby isn't THAT big! They must have had smaller babies back then?? Anyway, since it fit him now, I figured I'd better get some pictures of Asher in it!

Another week gone

Here is Asher at 11 weeks. I can't believe the time is flying by so fast! This top picture is of him on the changing table. I tried to capture how much he enjoys being here, but I think he must get camera shy. Almost without fail, laying him down on the changing table brings a smile to his face...and it gets even bigger when you start changing his diaper. I guess the boy loves having clean "underwear!"

...which one to post, so I included all 3 pictures. He's just so cute, I wanted you to see them all! I know he looks like a little man, but he's only 10 weeks old. He's getting so much more interactive, now, and loves to have a good time with you (when he's in a good mood!).

Halloween

Well, this was Asher's first Halloween, and we discovered that we have ANOTHER super hero in our family! Like father, like son, I suppose...

...and as you can see, he's very excited to help out Daddy with his responsibilities of saving the universe!

What a big boy!

This little boy had his 2 month check-up, and we found out he's not such a LITTLE boy! (Of course, we already had our suspicions...). He weighs 13 lbs 6 oz, and is 25 inches long! He just keeps growing and growing, as you can see! He has much better head control these days and when you put him down in an inclined position, he pushes his head forward like he's trying to sit up! I guess it won't be long now!
